Folly Day Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day portrays a false sense of romance and love. Take a look at its origins, and it is the complete opposite. The original observance known as, the feast of Lupercalia, was a festival kept by the Romans. In this time men sacrificed animals and used the hides of the animals to whip the women. There was also a love lottery going on.

Held in mid-February, the festival, celebrates the coming of spring. This festival is now renamed. This change came by the pope in the 5th century. It went to St. Valentine’s Day or as we know now as Valentine’s Day.

Different Name. Same Game.

Because the festival name changes doesn’t mean that the spirit of its origins are gone. A time of the year where many go and believe that love is in the air, but it turns out to last only for a temporary moment. This is in the spirit of the mating lottery. Most couples during this festival are usually only together throughout the festival.

This does not meet The Most High’s standard of love. His love is to keep His commandments. With that, there is no room for a temporary relationship with each other. But there is plenty of room to make it last forever and be honorable.

Perspective of Love: Man v.s. YAHUAH

The world’s definition of love
John 14:15
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
                                                                                                      1 John 5: 2-3

Be careful, watch out for evil days disguised as celebrations of good and love. No one can remove evil from something started in evil, they can only mask it. We hope that this has been helpful for you in making a righteous decision to ride a higher frequency.
