In a recent interview with ‘InTraffic 613 Hosted by Beloved Daud’ Script Flair Woo, owner of 613SPLASH, stopped in and made mention of a time he recalls being told he was not in the truth due to the urban clothing he had on.
“Almost five (5) years ago…. I had a personal experience when I first started getting around brothers…. and I had a brother tell me that I wasn’t in the truth because of what I had on…. he didn’t question me about The Law or nothing like that. Just looked at me and seen what I had on and was like, oh nah man, you can’t be in the truth dressing like that.”

After an experience like this some would turn away from the truth because they feel as if they are being told they can’t be them even while living righteously. But not Script Flair Woo, he took the hate and used it as fuel and created a righteous inspired urban look.

“I kinda want to bring the urban side to the scripts (scriptures), because it’s not about the outward appearance as long as you are modest. Know what I mean? Pants up. Shirt on your back. You can dress how you wanna dress. Your flava.”

With this perspective presented we have to agree also, that if the outward appearance is adorned beautifully, as long as it’s MODEST, there is no issue in it. The Most High doesn’t have a problem with His children being adorned beautifully. Here’s a few examples:

Exodus 28:40 (KJV) And for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.

Matthew 6:28-29 (KJV) 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

YAHUAH commanded that His priests be adorned beautifully and YAHUSHA mentions that He even adorns the lilies s of the field beautifully. This is why we agree with the perspective that an urban adorned look done modestly wouldn’t affect one’s being in the truth.
