Remembering YAHUAH’s Works In Israel
All of YHUH’S Feast Days and Appointed Times are to show us the great wonders YAHUAH has done for Israel. Even the future wonders that He will do for Israel bringing us to everlasting salvation. Yahusha has always spoke to Israel through parables. So even the Feast Days of YAHUAH He commands are parables to Israel. We keep them all in remembrance and observe them so we can remain faithful to the promises He has made to His People. Without observing these days we lose sight of what is to come and lose faith towards our Heavenly Father.
The folly days of the world don’t bring anything to our remembrance or give us no type of hope to look forward to. Those days are for physical pleasures such as gifts and other things pleasing to the flesh. This is why we promote to keep YAHUAH’s Feast Days to have something meaningful to our celebrations.
Colossians 2:16-17 (KJV) 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Mashiyach.
Let no one judge you for keeping these days set apart unto YAHUAH for righteousness. Remember they are for a shadow picture of what is to come, the Kingdom of YAHUAH.
The Passover is the first light of hope we have as a people through YAHUAH’s Feast Days. At a time of crisis for many in the land of Egypt, the children of Israel were able to dwell in Goshen unharmed. Then came the time where YAHUAH said He will place a plague on Egypt to kill all the firstborn in the land of Egypt. He then told Moses to command to the children of Israel to avoid this plague by killing a lamb without blemish. Then to place that blood of the lamb on the doorpost of their homes for the plague to pass over them.
We observe this Feast Day yearly. It is to show that we are keeping the Lamb YAHUAH has chosen on our mind so that death can pass over our houses. Also while observing how our ancestors fled Egypt. We enjoy it with lamb, a bitter herb and unleavened bread. (Which we will get into what it represents when going over the Feast of Unleavened Bread). While eating it in haste and with gladness. Celebrating the beginning of YAHUAH’s Feast Days.
Feast of Unleavened Bread
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is the next light of hope we have as a people through YAHUAH’s Feast Days. The purpose of this Feast Day is to go a whole seven days of not partaking in any leaven. We are to remove leaven from our houses or that person can be cut off from his people. As YAHUSHA stated, leaven isn’t only about bread. It represents sin and it has the quality of making things puff up. The Feast of Unleavened Bread observance is for 7 days straight. During these days we only partaking in unleavened bread. The unleavened bread is a representation of YAHUAH’s Word. This would be in representation of not partaking in any sin or any puffed up doctrines, which leads to sin. If we kept that practice throughout each week, we can go without partaking in sin everyday.
First Fruits is the third light of hope we have as a people through YAHUAH’s Feast Days. Thisis when we receive the first of our harvest. Then we bring a sheaf to the priest then he will wave it before YAHUAH to for acceptance. This is also is a sign to YAHUAH’s people. With YAHUAH’s Hand planting the seed of righteousness in the earth, there will be first fruits to come from this. These will be ready for harvest according to the fruits of righteousness they bear. These first fruits are gathered by YAHUAH’s Hand. Then there will be a waving before YAHUAH as an offering for his acceptance. These first fruits will be a sign of the 144,000.
Feast of Pentecost
Pentecost is the fourth light of hope in the year that we hold unto YHUH our Mighty One. It is a day where we bring the first of our hand back to YHUH. Pentecost is after the wave offering of the first fruits. We count 50 days from it, then we are to offer a freewill offering. We shall keep a Feast unto YHUH with a tribute of a free will offering from the first of our hand. Which we shall give to YHUH our Mighty One as YHUH has blessed us. And we shall rejoice before YHUH our Mighty One everyone among us in the place where YHUH chose to place his name.
Leviticus 23:15-22 – And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto YHUH. Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto YHUH.
Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah)
Trumpets the fifth light of hope unto YHUH that is in observance of the blowing of the Trumpets. The trumpet is not only a music instrument. The trumpet in our culture is to be a representation of shouting, rejoicing, a battle cry or alarm. This day about being watchful and warning others of the signs for our deliverance and HIS coming. On the first day of the seventh month where we hold a Set Apart convocation. Knowing that no man knows the time nor the hour that the Son of Man will make his Grand appearance. We are to look for the signs of the times (Matt. 24: 3-31), Meet his appointed times, and lend an ear to his voice.
Leviticus 23:23-25- And YHUH spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YHUH.
Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur)
This day is day we must afflict (humble) ourselves before YHUH. On the Tenth day of the seventh month. It is the 6th light of hope.
We must mend all problems and rid of strife amongst us. This can even happen before the Day of Atonement even arrives. If possible try to reconcile when it occurs. How can we expect the Father to forgive if we are not willing to forgive those who trespass against us. So on this day it shall be a Set Apart convocation, and we shall afflict (Humble) our souls. We shall not do any servile work for it is a day to make an atonement for us.
The person who does not afflict themselves this day, he shall be cut off from among his people. (Meaning he did not try to reconcile issues with others). And the person who does any work on this day that same soul will get destroyed from among his people. We should not do any manner of work. This shall be a statue forever throughout our generations. Celebrating our Sabbath from evening to evening.and in the ninth day of the month.
Feast of Tabernacle (Sukkot)
The last feast we hold unto YHUH our Mighty One. This is the 7th light of hope. It is one of the three times we are commanded to appear before YHUH. This is represents when we will be gathered with Mashiyach for the millennial period. The millennial period is a thousand years of peace). We do Sukkot in the seventh month on the 15th day for seven days.
On the first day it shall be a Set Apart Convocation, and we shall do no work. Seven days shall we offer an offering made by fire unto YHUH. Then on the eighth day we shall have another Set Apart convocation and offer an offering made by fire. It is solemn (serious) festival and no work shall be done in it. This shall be kept as a feast for seven days on the fifteenth day of the seventh month as a statute forever in our generations. Those that are Israelite born shall dwell in Booths seven days. That our generations may know that YHUH made us dwell in booths when he brought us out of the land of Egypt.
